Medieval Times Lady Knight Costumes

This was a fun project! We had tickets to celebrate a friends birthday atĀ Medieval Times Dinner Show Atlanta locationĀ on New Years Eve. They have a special celebration with food, drinks and a balloon drop in addition to their normal show. I decided to whip up these costumes last minute. I didn’t have time to hem the dresses before the event.

This is the base dress. It’s a cowl neck skater dress made from shiny chainmail spandex.

This is my pattern attempt for the tunic. I used Swedish tracing paper to make a sewable muslin to save time. The tunic fabric was inexpensive broadcloth from Joanns trimmed in packaged bias tape. The emblems were made of heat transfer vinyl.

The entire squad:

It was such a fun time! The knights LOVED the costumes! AND the Green knight won!!

I also wore this costume again for DragonCon night at Medieval Times.
